Nu Skin Review – Nu Skin Scam Exposed?

Nu Skin Enterprises has been in the network marketing world for over 25 years. However, success is never a guarantee in the network marketing business. Can Nu Skin Enterprises ensure financial success for you? Let’s explore…..

History of Nu Skin Enterprises

Exploring Nu Skin -By James WehnerThis American direct sales company was founded in 1984. With its headquarters located at Provo, Utah, the company has created a niche in the world of multi-level marketing. In 1996, the company got listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE).

The Nu Skin company was founded by Blake Roney, Nedra Roney, Brooke Roney, Steve Lund, and Sandie Tillotson. Blake Roney continues to be the Chairman of the board while Truman Hunt is the CEO of Nu Skin Enterprises. Truman has considerable experience in marketing of life care and beauty products. Under his leadership, the company has expanded operations to more than 48 countries in Asia, Europe, North America and South America. In 2008, Nu Skin had more than 75,000 active distributors. The company achieved the highest ever turnover ($1.25 billion) in 2008 from 50 international markets. That same year they paid out over $600 million in commissions. WOW!

Although the company has had to face several lawsuits in its history, it has been penalized only once for the sale of products containing chromium picolinate and L-carnitine.

As part of its social responsibility, the company runs the ‘Nourish the Children’ program to promote a healthy diet for children with malnutrition. This is one aspect of Nu Skin that I totally appreciate and separates it from other MLMs. Lee Iacocca is one of the driving forces behind the Nourish the Children program. When you donate to this cause as a member, it actually counts towards your monthly autoship commitment.

Product Review

The product catalogue of Nu Skin Enterprises can be classified in three categories:

  • Anti-ageing products: The AgeLOC brand develops anti-ageing products (including the Galvanic Spa)
  • Personal care products: All personal care products are branded under the name of Nu Skin. The range of product includes oral care, skin care, men care, hair care and cosmetics.
  • Pharmanex: Healthcare products are branded under Pharmanex. The company has weight management, immunity support, dietary control and energy products in this range.

Compensation Plan

Nu Skin distributors can earn money in two ways. Firstly, they can earn through retail markups on the sale of products procured at wholesale rates. Secondly, they can through commissions or bonuses paid on the distributor’s sales or the sales of people in their downline network. Retail mark up is usually 30% of the wholesale price. The commission matrix differs among distributors. In the US, the average commission is $1,421, on an annualized basis. However, individuals with considerable sales across the global network can earn much higher commission.

Bottom Line on Nu Skin Enterprises

With several years of operations, Nu Skin has proved the effectiveness of is marketing plan. Its track record also proves that Nu Skin Enterprises is NOT a scam. Dedicated distributors can make huge sums of money with this tried and tested MLM company….if you have the right marketing system.

    James-
MLM, no matter how you look at it, is built on the loss of the masses.
If you really look at the number of Nu Skinners who make money it will shock you how few at the top actually do…on the backs of many who do not.
Your chance to make any money is less then one tenth of a percent. Look it up: mlm-thetruth.com

DON’T GET IN TO MLM/NU SKIN unless you want to be Skinned alive!
Also know that some of the owners are a bunch of scum bags. Sandie Tillotson and Nedra Roney are drug abusing, control freaks. There is a few books coming out about them and Nu Skin that will blow you away!

      Johanson,

I appreciate you stopping by and leaving a comment. I approved it because I wanted to learn more about your motive for leaving it. Did you have a bad personal experience with Nu Skin?

Network Marketing is not for everyone, but like any business if you don’t quit your chances for success shoot up. I’m curious to see your reply.

      All my best to you,

      James

Another natural remedy for acne scars is lemon juice, which softens the skin and makes the scars less noticeable. Just like the egg whites, it can simply be massaged into the skin using a cotton ball and then rinsed off. However, in the case of lemon juice, it should never be left on the skin for more than twenty minutes at a time. This is very important.
