Efusjon Decided to Turn its Back on their Distributors and their Families…Now What?

Sadly, efusjon appears to have ended it’s short and wish-washy time in the network marketing industry. To industry insiders this is no shocker. In fact, back in early April I wrote ” If you are in efusjon I would highly recommend getting a plan B going on the side. If you are recruiting people in efusjon it should be because you like the drinks….not because you want a long term residual income” (http://mlmonlinemagic.wordpress.com/category/efusjon-review/).

Some people (mostly efusjon reps) thought I was being negative…actually I was just being honest and speaking from my firsthand experience. I know sometimes our dreams won’t let us see the reality of some situations.  As a fellow networker I genuinly didn’t want people to have the kick to the gut feeling that I felt by the ineptness of the efusjon leadership regime. It’s like having a premonition of the the Titanic sinking and you are screaming for people to stop boarding…but they won’t  listen.  They even were smiling while helping their family and friends board.

The absolute worst part of this whole situation is the families that have had their dreams ripped away from them by greedy and incompetent owners of a business. I don’t think the owners are bad or malicious people…they just didn’t pass the greed test. Maybe it’s a sign of the times. I can say with absolute certainty that the distributors were very talented and were creating a very nice culture. They were clearly not the weak link in the equation. The distributors were the only reason this company even got on the map and lasted this long.

WHAT EFUSJON SHOULD DO?

With owners like efusjons, it’s the distributors who should be put on a pedastool for making it last even this long.  If efusjon does decide it would like to make amends….what do I think they should do? They should offer a share of any future retail profits to any rep who was active when they closed the doors on them( and one extra share for everyone in their downline). That would be one way they could reclaim some dignity for their brand. It would bring back at least an ounce of balance.

WHATS NEXT FOR EFUSJON REPS?

Fortunately, there are some great stable opportunities for you to consider in todays marketplace. Efusjon was the most unstable of MLM companies ever since they were bait and switching the comp plan in 2009.  Any move you make from here will be a HUGE step up….. and hopefully you will have renewed entrepreneurial excitement.

Network marketing is an amazing industry with fantastic products. Heck, I even liked the efusjon product.  With that in mind, I suggest doing your due dilligence and getting your feet planted relatively quickly. If you have a relationship with some leaders in the industry I would start there first and see what they are building and what systems they have for marketing.  Do this before your team shatters into a thousand different pieces and join all different opportunities. Do you want to call and recruit them into your opportunity, or do you want them to call and try and recruit you? The space between your answer to that question and taking action could literally be huge for your financial future.  Here are some reviews of some of the more popular companies out there http://workwithjameswehner.com/category/network-marketing-company-reviews/

I really hope that efusjon reps chalk up the ride they had as a positive experience for the new relationships formed and business skills that have developed. The future is bright and wide open for you to set a new sail and achieve all you set out to accomplish.

  2. It is so sad but I bet if you read the policies and procedures, the intent was probably there all along. Everyone needs to learn the 5 Pillars of Success and do their homework before joining any company!!

Efusjon founders were downright awful business people. They could have challenged the like of Mona Vie and Vemma but greed and deception marketing dragged them under the water…..when the seas were perfectly ripe for sailing. Really too bad.

What have you moved onto Dale?

      Best,

  3. Hi James
What a sad story. Another company letting down its members, ruining dreams and creating a bad reputation for the industry. I have had a number of similar experiences, most recently with Success University. So now I make sure I only get involved with companies that are tried and tested. The secret is in the marketing. You don’t need to build a business around something that is “new”, “just launched”, you need to build a business on something that is stable and reliable. Then your marketing can create the freshness that may be needed to attract a list and downline.

    Thanks and best wishes

    Peter

I feel for you Peter…it’s not a bad idea to play it safe and build your skyscraper organization on solid proven grounds. However, don’t let fear itself deter you from considering something new as capturing that early mover advantage could be game changing for some. Of course, with your past experience you will certainly be much wiser and dilligent…but swing for the fences every now and then.

      Best to you,

      James
