Sadly, efusjon appears to have ended it’s short and wish-washy time in the network marketing industry. To industry insiders this is no shocker. In fact, back in early April I wrote ” If you are in efusjon I would highly recommend getting a plan B going on the side. If you are recruiting people in efusjon it should be because you like the drinks….not because you want a long term residual income” (http://mlmonlinemagic.wordpress.com/category/efusjon-review/).

Some people (mostly efusjon reps) thought I was being negative…actually I was just being honest and speaking from my firsthand experience. I know sometimes our dreams won’t let us see the reality of some situations.  As a fellow networker I genuinly didn’t want people to have the kick to the gut feeling that I felt by the ineptness of the efusjon leadership regime. It’s like having a premonition of the the Titanic sinking and you are screaming for people to stop boarding…but they won’t  listen.  They even were smiling while helping their family and friends board.

The absolute worst part of this whole situation is the families that have had their dreams ripped away from them by greedy and incompetent owners of a business. I don’t think the owners are bad or malicious people…they just didn’t pass the greed test. Maybe it’s a sign of the times. I can say with absolute certainty that the distributors were very talented and were creating a very nice culture. They were clearly not the weak link in the equation. The distributors were the only reason this company even got on the map and lasted this long.

WHAT EFUSJON SHOULD DO?

With owners like efusjons, it’s the distributors who should be put on a pedastool for making it last even this long.  If efusjon does decide it would like to make amends….what do I think they should do? They should offer a share of any future retail profits to any rep who was active when they closed the doors on them( and one extra share for everyone in their downline). That would be one way they could reclaim some dignity for their brand. It would bring back at least an ounce of balance.

WHATS NEXT FOR EFUSJON REPS?

Fortunately, there are some great stable opportunities for you to consider in todays marketplace. Regardless of the company, you also want to have a great team around you with the right marketing system that fits your personality. What Is the Marketing System?

Traditionally, network marketing companies would teach it’s distributors to have home business parties, bring prospects to hotel presentations, or treat them to a business presentation over lunch. Recently network marketing companies have been providing new training and tools to teach their distributors how to market on the internet. Companies that teach these strategies are on the cutting edge of today. I believe the single most important factor for any serious network marketing professional is having the proper network marketing system.

Who are the Founders?

It’s also important to research who the founders of the companies are by a simple Google search. Although you can’t believe everything that you read on the internet, you will actually see what your potential prospects will be seeing. Some founders have had a history of lawsuits while others have a ton of success and are very charitable. I believe it’s very important to research the founders of any company that you are seriously considering joining.

What Type of Compensation Plan?

Each company has their own compensation plans. There are binary compensation plans, matrix compensation plans, stairstep compensation plans, etc. All companies will have unique requirements to unlock all of the money. It’s important to do due diligence and understand the dynamic of the compensation plan for a company that you are considering. Some companies have coded bonuses, matching bonuses, or legs that have to balance to get paid the residual income.

What is the Product or Service?

I personally believe that network marketing companies have the best products available anywhere. Of course you cannot do them all but here’s a little advice to help you find one or more that will be right for you. There are less than a dozen companies that have reached the billion dollar milestone. They range from financial planning, cosmetics, cookware, health and wellness, and even an aloe vera based company. Again, out of tens of thousands of network marketing companies that have formed it’s important to know that less than a dozen have actually achieved billion dollar status. With this in mind, there are companies today that are poised to achieve this rank as well. So you can take the safe route and join a company that is already there or take a chance on a newer company that’s on its way up.
